Luxury, handcrafted textiles and wallpapers — rooted in old-world techniques and artisanal methods, reimagined for today.
A Storied Legacy
Rose Cumming was a pioneering interior designer known for her bold use of color and eclectic style, notably her infamous “Ugly Room” filled with predatory images of snakes, vultures, boars and monkeys. After moving to New York in 1917, she opened a design shop and launched her own fabric line. Her signature chintzes became iconic, defining her opulent aesthetic and leaving a lasting mark on interior design.
The Story Lives On

"With Rose Cumming, I'm taking it back to its roots...those chintzes are special, and the archive is beautiful."
